AIDS : An Epidemic

People use it as a joke all the time but it is far from that. It is very serious. It is an epidemic that is spreading so fast because of people being non chalant about their sex lives, tattoos, drugs and promiscuity. This is nothing to take lightly. AIDS does not discriminate. It does not care about looks, race, ORIENTATION, religion, profession and so on. Do you know that blacks and latinos have to highest number of infected people in the United States? This is a huge problem. Latinos and blacks are the minority in the U.S but we are the most with AIDS? This has got to stop! We all need to use clean needles when we get tattoos and stop SHARING needles. Most of all we need to stop being "easy" and being promiscuous without using protection. AIDS lowers your immune system making you weak and more immune to viruses. AIDS is spread through bodily fluids so thats even more of a reason to use protection. We can stop the spread of this epidemic if we protect ourselves. Are you willing to speak up?

I just wanted to take the time to introduce myself. My name is Jessica Rene' Flanigan. My friends know me as Jess or Jessie. My professional/ music people know me as Rene'[T.S.P](tsp stands for the super producer).

I am a laid-back type of girl, I hate drama. I love making beats and playing instruments. My style is strongly influenced by my 3 idols [Pharrell, Rihanna, and Teyana Taylor]. I also love my sneakers, I'll take them over heels any day! My fashion sense is simple...I coordinate, but I don't match. Even though I have 20/20 vision, I love to wear glasses. My fashion is influenced by the 80s, retro. Something that has been out before but it has been interpreted into something new. I hate the new skinny jean craze [for the boys] although I love to wear them myself. I think when guys wear them, it makes them look skinnier, girlier, gayer and I know it has to hurt below the belt...lol. I like for a guy to dress simple. A v-neck tee, some regular fit jeans and a nice pair of kicks is alright to me.

Besides making beats, my other talents are dancing, drawing and I have a pretty good fashion sense. People always compliment me on something I'm wearing when I fix up. I guess it's because I always buy the most unique things that no one else has and I know that ya'll gon laugh at this, but I am the originator of the "Rihanna" haircut. I had my hair cut since 2007, she got hers gut in 2008. Lol. After that everyone started biting my "short hair" swagg. Lol. When I started wearing the khaki cargo shorts wit a fitted tee and kicks in 2005, girls start biting that too. I guess they just weren't used to swagg like that lol. I hate when people copy other people...that's why I choose to dress the way I do. I had a big, square houndstooth scarf, and I turned it into a bag. What do these girls try to do? Bite my swagg again. LOL!!! That's ok though, it's nice to see people trying to be like you, that means you're doing something right.

After saying all that, I just want to introduce myself. Again. My name is Rene' [T.S.P] and I want to bring good music to the people of America. What's your name?

something very important to me

i was just sittin in my room thinkin the other day, about something very important to me.
i hold this close to my heart.
some of you may not care about it, but i really do.
some of you may have not even known this about me.
i'm a virgin....and i'm proud of it!
it's not like i can't get any, lolz [anyone can], but i do it for choice.
i do it because i have the power and will to resist temptation.
some people may think it's hard, and it is.
another day w/o doing that makes me feel good, makes me have no worries about pregnancy and std's.
so go ahead and laugh at me if you want cuz i don't care lol....

i wear a ring to symbolize it.
i call it a purity ring....it might be fake but i'm buying another one lol.

i know on my wedding day it will all be worth while, when he takes off the purity ring, and puts on the wedding ring. but i don't plan on that being anytime soon.....

What's On My Mind???

I want one of these so bad lol....

Hmmm, today I just feel like writin about a lot of things.

First off, i'm goin apartment shoppin within the next 6 months. Nothing too glamorous, just a 1 bedroom or studio apartment. I just want a place of my own. The freedom to do whatever I want and not have to ask "can i invite someone over here" and etc. I think that would be perfect for me.

I also plan to go to school at "The Atlanta Institute of Music" in the spring semester of 2010 to major in Music Production/ Editing. I love music and I feel like I can bring good music to the world if I had the necessary skills and equipment to do it.



I went online on Monday and it was Teyana Taylor's two month anniversary from when she started broadcasting on ustream. Fans twitter "TEYANAVERSARY" to lift up her spirits. She was surprised by it and even started to cry tears of joy because she felt like everyone had gave up on her. I've been a fan of her's ever since sweet 16. I never gave up on her and a lot of other people didn't either. Before the end of the night, she was the #3 trending topic on twitter.
She's gettin up there step by step and she can do it.



I listened to "Losos Way" by Fabolous and I wondered, where were my NEPTUNES at!!!! He shouldve got them to produce a track on there. The album was alright though, not one of my favorites. Click Here to listen for yourself. (I Like "Salute","Last Time", and "Stay")

Finally, why is it that guys can call girls "h**s" and they can't be called the same if they doin the same thing. That don't make no sense at all. I know I'm not out there doin "anything" with "anybody" [as a matter of fact i'm a virgin and i'm proud of it!] but it's still wrong. How can you say a girl is a h** and she only slept with one person, but you not and you slept with over 100.CONTRADICTION! I say if you over a ceratain number of people, you are one [male or female]. And it's gettin worse because the people are gettin younger and younger. I just don't understand why girls are havin children at 11 & 12....at that age I was just starting to have crushes on boys, not sleepin with them. That's just something to think about.

SHE GETS HARDLY ANY RECOGNITION BUT SHE HAS A NICE VOICE WHILE SOMEONE WHO IS BASICALLY A ONE HIT WONDER GETS ALL THE CREDIT. WHAT ABOUT LUPE FIASCO WHO USES A LOT OF METAPHORS AND IS LYRICALLY A BEAST BUT THE GUY WHO IS STILL THINKIN THOSE ELEMENTARY RHYMES IS GETTIN ALL THE RECORD SALES. IT MAKES ME MAD THAT GOOD ARTISTS NEVER GET THE CHANCE TO BE HEARD. Let's Take A Moment

Dang, I feel so bad that the world has lost two legends today.

She was a well known actress who lost to a battle with cancer and he was the self proclaimed "king of pop" who was a household name.

It's just crazy to me. When I heard about both of them, I was shocked, my mind went completely blank when I heard about Michael.

I could remember trying to do the moonwalk in my socks when I was younger. "Thiller" ,"Black or White" and "Remember The Times" were my fav. videos of his. It just shocking someone who was known by all genders, races, and religions is gone.

These are two people we will remember, and they will never be forgotten. They are in a better place.

I have a confession though. I'm a shopaholic. I always find myself blowing my cash on clothes and shoes. I love them so much, you know. If i could have everything i wanted, that would be dope. Then again, if u have everything u want, you won't be happy. I'm a self proclaimed "sneaker addict" cuz i love sneakers. I just bought some yesterday. And i can't get enough of v-neck t's. I love em. I would call my style urban/preppy/retro cuz that's what i love to wear. I love to roc the cargo boy shorts and the sneakers wit a girly t. That's just my style. Creatives, nikes, supras, vans, converse, and many more shoes are my favs. As far as clothing lines, married to the mob, bbc, hellz bellz, pretty much anything on karmaloop.com i would wear. That's just me. I like to be different. Do what u want in fashion cuz everybody can't dress alike. Be original and unique.

Dreamin

If u only dream and don't act on it, then u will be dreamin your whole life. U gotta be ambitious. U gotta chase ur dream, u gotta make it happen because if u sit around, it'll only pass u by and u will be sayin "i shoulda, coulda, woulda". Don't be afraid to be urself cuz everybody is different in their own way. If you got an idea that u think is crazy and u like it, go for it. It just might work for u. If you want to be a singer, dancer, actor, chef, whatever do it. Even if you lifelong dream is to be a stripper, if it aint hurtin nobody then do it.[lol] Life is so short and u dont wanna be wishing that u did ur dream. I want to be a top notch music producer and that's what i'm gonna be because i'm going after it. I could care less if u don't like my beats or my style, i'm still gonna do me and chase my dream and that's how yall should be.
